Lagoon Colors

This was one of those spots you could easily walk right past if you weren’t paying attention. Tucked away in Pine, this lagoon just opened up with color once the leaves started turning. The trees hit that perfect mix of gold, green, and red, and the water flattened out just enough to reflect everything back almost perfectly. It doubled the whole scene and made it feel a little surreal. The red barn in the background tied it all together. It gave the scene something solid to sit on while everything else felt like it was shifting with the light and color. It’s quiet, but it sticks with you. Just one of those moments where slowing down and looking twice paid off.
