This piece caught my attention because of the texture more than anything else. The wood is twisted, split, and worn down, but it’s still holding together in its own way. It’s not clean or perfect—it’s rough, uneven, and shaped by time and exposure. You can see where it’s broken, where it’s been pushed around, and where it’s just held on. That’s what stood out to me. Not something new or polished, but something that’s been through it and is still sitting right where it belongs. It’s a reminder that not everything needs to be untouched to have value.
