I was out during a full moon, like I usually am when the sky looks halfway decent, and this one came together pretty quick. The clouds were moving through and catching just enough light to give the moon something to work with instead of blowing everything out. That’s usually the challenge—without clouds, it’s just a bright spot. The trees stayed dark and simple, which is all they needed to do. They frame it, but they don’t compete with it. This was taken right near home. Nothing special about the location—it was just the timing that made it work.
