Several years ago, I walked into a restaurant in North Scottsdale and stopped in
my tracks. Across the room, a spectacular backlit mural glowed with brilliant
colors and incredible detail. I couldn’t take my eyes off it. I remember thinking,
“I have to find a way to bring my photography to life like that!”
That moment sparked a three-year journey of experimenting with different
materials, specialized media, and custom-built frames. After plenty of trial and
error, I developed Azra’s exclusive combination of LED Backlit Frames and
Media. The secret is in how the specialized photographic media and illuminated
frames work together. Unlike traditional prints, which reflect light, Azra’s
images are illuminated from behind. This creates a stunning richness of color,
remarkable detail, and a sense of depth that makes the photographs seem to
come alive.
